What could be sweeter than an 8-pound bundle of joy? And how in the world could those same 8 pounds send everyone's schedule into absolute chaos?
Rich and Jennifer considered themselves organized, sane adults, but when little Blake joined their family all sense of organization went out the door. They wanted to have a special celebration for their new baby's baptism, but who had time to plan it?
Rich offered to look online for christening favors and found a great selection at MyJellyBelly.com. He ordered Premium Tins–the same ones he'd seen in the coffee shop where he got his mocha macchiato every morning–and easily customized them for Blake's baptism. First he filled them with Jelly Belly beans in Blueberry and Coconut. Then he chose a cute blue background and added some text to the lid. As soon as Blake woke up from his nap (right after the emergency diaper change), Rich took a couple of cute pictures of him, uploaded the best one onto the site, and arranged it on the cover of the tin.
Rich didn't consider himself creative, but he thought it was easy and fun to design a one-of-a-kind christening favor right on the website. The whole process took about 5 minutes (not including another emergency diaper change).
The day of the baptism, everything went perfectly. There wasn't a dry eye in the church, and everyone loved the food, the adorable personalized party favors, and of course Blake.
Except for the fact that the entire ceremony came to a halt because of an emergency diaper change, it was an absolutely perfect day.
